Blindsight

— Paul Highby

She had a touch of Blindsight
Of what she scarcely knew—
As if some ragged orphan
Hand owned a single shoe

Whose mate trod crystal pavements
The other side of Time—
No wonder she was haunted
By any sort of Rhyme.
