Featuring Robert Sward, January 2013

Christine Richardson, the Willow Glen Poetry readings’ co-host, introduced January 2013’s featured reader thus:

We are pleased tonight to feature one of our most prolific local writers, Robert Sward. He hails from Santa Cruz by way of Chicago, parts of Canada, and, no doubt, many more cities where he engaged in a wide range of interesting occupations and experiences most of us only dream about. Suffice to say, you know you have accomplished much when you have four pages on Wikipedia and that your books have been endorsed by such greats as Carolyn Kizer, Robert Bly, Dana Gioia, and Ellen Bass. So let’s get right to enjoying the gifts of this poet. Please welcome, Robert Sward.

  1. I am still enjoying the book I bought at the reading. Thank you so much for sharing your poetry and considerable humor with us. Your wife Gloria is also a treasure, and I appreciated getting to sit and talk with her.
