Mystery

— Vicki L. Harvey

The crescent moon gives only a whisper
 There was more to say
I wanted to hear a symphony
 I needed a vision
A luscious taste of sweet surrender
 Where is my Goddess
I can’t recall our last conversation
It feels like an eternity since we were together
The roses bow their heads loosing their petals
 The sun does not shine
It’s true – Time always eases the ache
Still it is a crush when your gift has vanished
and blood flows from your being
 The Mother points her finger
Her breast rising and falling in the wind
Go forth finding solace with tea and kindness
