the magic shadow bomber
whips our planet friends each
morning sperm and eggs steal fallen rocks.
i make tea and understand the crumpled starship.
if i’m silent long enough the stone will speak.
the dark and bloody sky will come and help me
hold my message nerves around you gently,
your warm arms beside me.
my hidden daughter paints the eerie cavern
where the sun will sink along the seawall grave.
i walk so many years ago
i hear you sing.
these are important clues along the ocean.
next time i make tea, i’ll figure out
the crashing waves.
